Ideally situated for historic places of interest of the Moreton Corbet Castle, Shrewsbury Castle, Hawkstone Hall & Gardens, Gorge of Ironbridge and Bridgnorth. There is plenty to do and see. You may want to go and enjoy Melverley Farm Fishery, Quarry Park, Gardens, play & splash park as well as their large indoor swimming pool, Park Hall Farm or Hoo Zoo & Dinosaur World, all within easy distance.
Whether you want to just sit back, relax, enjoy a BBQ, explore, and make some memories, Springfield Riverside Camping welcomes you. Our pitches are generous for Motorhomes, Caravans, Trailer tents & tents. Great views. We are pet friendly.
We are a small family run Camping and Caravanning Club certificated campsite.
We enjoy nature and have run our small holding with our resident animals for a few years now.
We decided that we wanted people to be able to enjoy our space of nature just as much as we do so joined up with Camping and Caravanning Club to create this lovely Hide Away Escape.
There are generous pitches alongside the river for Motorhomes, Caravans, Trailer tents & Tents.
We have a pet friendly policy.
We welcome you to enjoy a BBQ, whether it be within your own pitch or at the communal social area around the wishing well, where there are picnic tables.
There are fresh water points, Elson Chemical Waste and Grey Water Waste points as well as a designated rubbish area.
You are welcome to pet our resident animals. There are Sheep, Goats, Ponies and Horses. All are friendly and love a treat.
We have small fishing pegs that can be accessed when separately booked through us.
A communal area to have picnics and BBQs.
MORETON CORBET CASTLE
Moreton Corbet is a great place for a family picnic. Children are welcome to explore the nooks and crannies of the castle ruins. The neighbouring Church is also well worth a visit for its links to the Corbet Family and also for the impressive chancel decorated in 1904 by renowned Victorian Architect Ninian Comper
